The open standard · stewarded by Concert

SIGNET is the notation work is written in.

An open specification for composable, conformant business programs. Vendor-neutral, signed, and readable by any conformant tool — so a score written once can be performed, audited, and trusted anywhere.

Version 1.0 — Public Draft · Concert

The SIGNET
Standard

Three conformance classes.

A
Strict

Every stave resolves at its barline; the performance is independently verified by Concert.

B
Audited

Performance validates against the score's signature and is audited on a sampling cadence.

C
Self-declared

The operator attests conformance; signatures are recorded but not externally verified.

signature: ed25519
seal: CONF-<year>-<id>
spec: §1 Model · §2 Notation · §3 Conformance · §4 Signing

Designed to be governed, not owned.

Open & vendor-neutral

Published under an open license. No single vendor — including Score Networks — controls the spec.

Signed & verifiable

Scores and performances are cryptographically signed, so conformance is provable, not asserted.

Versioned in the open

RFC-style proposals, public review, and semantic versioning keep the standard stable and legible.

Stewarded by Concert

An independent body maintains the spec, runs the registry, and certifies conformant implementations.
